Joe Sottolano
Joe Sottolano is originally from New York. He played baseball at Ithaca College while
earning his Bachelors and Masters of Science.
He was an integral part of the team that won the College World Series in
1988 and was voted College World Series Most Outstanding Player. Coach Sottolano was one of thirty-six players
in 1990 selected around the nation to try out for Team USA. He has twenty-three years of Division I
coaching experience with fourteen as a Head Coach. During his Head Coaching tenure, he has had
nineteen student-athletes drafted in the MLB and over 50 All-Americans. Coach Sottolano is entering his 2nd
full season at JP2. In 202, he guided
the Falcons to their first outright Area Championship in school history. He’s married to Lori Sottolano and father of
Nicholas and Tyler.
