Stephen Boyer
Coach
Boyer grew up in upstate New York. He
lettered in cross country, indoor and outdoor track all four years (1984-1988)
while majoring in bio-chemistry at Ithaca College. He is still listed in the
top ten all-time records for cross country and the 800 meter race in
track. Coach Boyer is a Doctor of
Optometry and has worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for 27 years.
Coach Boyer coached at St. Matthews Catholic School (Champaign, Illinois) for
four years and at Holy Spirt Catholic School in Huntsville prior to JPII.
Under the leadership of Coach Boyer and Coach Zibas, fifteen boys and five girls have finished with All State cross
country honors and seventeen boys and thirteen girls have earned All State for
track and field.
