James Dowd
Coach Dowd is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. After moving to Alabama,
he attended Lee High School in Huntsville where he was a multi-sport letter
winner and All State wrestler. Upon graduation, Coach Dowd joined the United
States Marine Corps and deployed to the Middle East. Once he arrived home, he
started his coaching career with nine years at the now closed Butler High
School followed by three years at J.O. Johnson / Jemison High School. He is now
in his 5th season at the helm of the Falcons wrestling team.
