Coach Hatfield is originally from Decatur, AL and a graduate of Decatur High School. After Graduating from Queens University of Charlotte, he joined the basketball coaching staffs at Troy University and Mercer University. Most recently, he was the head coach at Jackson Hole High School (WY), where last year they reached the school's first 4A State Tournament.
