Captain Averiel Brininger placed 7th individually leading her team to a 3rd place trophy this past weekend at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational Meet in Oakville, AL. She knocked off an impressive one minute and thirty-six seconds off her previous personal best recording a time of 21:16 on Saturday. This is a direct result of the hard work she put in all summer and preseason. The young Cross Country team will look to their Captain to lead again this weekend as they run in the Southern Classic at John Hunt Park on Saturday morning.
