Kallie set a school record for women's one meter springboard diving this past Thursday with an impressive score of 323.40 points, soaring past the required 225 points to qualify for the AHSAA state championships. As a 7th grader competing in her first season of dive with JPII, Kallie started the season not having enough dives to complete a competition. In just a few short months, she not only has a complete list of eleven dives, Kallie executes the dives with a grace that usually takes years to achieve.
