Mariella has been on a tear this season after making a huge splash in her 8th grade year on the Varsity team for the Falcons last year. Earlier this season, she was named Player of the Week for the entire state of Alabama including all high school classifications. This past week in their win against Area rival Madison Academy, she tallied three goals on six shots along with seven steals. She dominated the midfield and attacking one third of the field, opening up opportunities for her teammates to take advantage. Her performance this season has made a huge impact on the young Falcon team as they turn their sights to Area play over the next three weeks. Congratulations, Mariella!
