This past week at the Sectional Meet in Huntsville, the JPII Swim & Dive team represented very well in the 1A-5A classification securing several state cuts! Isaac Whetstone continued his strong freshman campaign on the diving board winning 1st place in the 1meter dive competition and also making the state cut in the 100meter backstroke. Eli Gilchrist finished in 2nd place in both the 200meter IM and the 100meter breaststroke, making the state cut in both events. And Savannah Whetstone made the state cut in the 100meter freestyle event. In all, nine JPII Falcons will be headed to Auburn on the first weekend of December for the State Meet.
